an Opps...It's Ella :D

A Free Moment, post on your blog!

So I have seriously been neglecting this thing and am super sorry! I guess I could give some updates on my life at the moment....

So I recently finished my job at the high school I have been at since January (the person I was filling in for finally came back!). Unfortunately with this job ending I am back at Hannaford, insert sad face! I'm hoping that sometime in this future I get out of that awful place, but for now it's what I've got =D

ALSO, we got a puppy! She is a cute as a button and a little devil at the same time...I'll attach a picture at the end.

So since I really have nothing to write about I thought I would share some of the quotes I have found recently while stumbling the internet...enjoy <3

The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known
suffering, known struggle, know loss, and have found their way out of the depths.
These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life
that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern.
Beautiful people do not just happen.
-Elizabeth Kubler Ros

I welcome each new day with a hopeful expectancy that I, too, will rise above the ordinary.
For I am not content to live a merely "normal" life or settle for an average
existence. No, I am destined for more-much, much more.

People universally tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will maybe descend upon you like fine weather if you are fortunate enough. But that’s not how happiness works. Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it…
– Eat, Pray, Love –

So here’s to reality. Here’s to opening up your eyes and looking at the world in it’s entirety. Life is beautiful for those who see it as it is. Your day is what you make of it. So here’s to waking up every day and putting on the biggest smile. Because everything in the world is wonderful, why shouldn’t we be too?

If you’re feeling frightened about what comes next… Don’t. Embrace the uncertainty. Allow it to lead you places. Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path towards happiness. Don’t waste time with regret. Spin wildly into your next action. Enjoy the present – each moment as it comes – because you’ll never get another one quite like it. And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over. Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart, where your hope lives. You’ll find your way again…
