some down time

Being  bored tonight I decided to go ahead and post some thoughts...stolen from somewhere on Grouchy Rabbit or Pinterest

Realized: It's impossible to casually walk across a blow-up mattress.

Realized: In 1000 years, archeologists will find tanning beds and think that we fried people as punishment.

Realized: They say you are what you eat... but I don't recall eating a sexy beast today.

Realized: Everyone screams like a girl... It would just be awkward if somebody screamed in a really low pitched voice.

Fact: You will always have something extremely important to say when your mouth is full.

Fact: The days you don't have time to shower are the days you will run into everyone you know.

Fact: If it's cold enough to wear uggs, it's not hot enough to wear booty shorts.

Fact: Anyone who says there's no such thing as a stupid question, has obviously never worked in customer service.

Definition: Drama (noun) - When Sarah likes Mike but Mike is going out with Jane when Jane actually likes Dylan but Dylan likes Sarah so Dylan asks out Sarah and Jane gets mad and breaks up with Mike so she can go out with Dylan then Sarah asks out Ty instead and Ty likes Hanna and Hanna likes Mike so Hanna asks out Mike and Jane gets jealous so she tries to make up with Mike.

Definition: Single (adjective) - A man who makes jokes about women in the kitchen.

Definition: Awkward (adjective) - When you de-friend somebody on Facebook and they friend request you again.

Quotiessssss.

"Dear God, Thank you for giving me this beautiful life and forgive me if I don't love it enough."

"Home is where I can look and feel ugly and enjoy it."

"Promise yourself...
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all you friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.

To be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.

To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the
presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.

To live the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is
in you."

Christian D. Larson.

"I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person."

Audrey Hepburn

"The happiest person does not have everything. They make the best of everything they have."

...and with that I leave you for the night <3

...

Another thought! I recently became addicted to Pinterest, check mine out =)

a reallyyyy cold night, blog!

I guess you could say that I will make my goal of at least one update this month! (Lets hope I can make it back here again before the end of September).

As far as a real update goes, there is really not much going on in my life, but here are the more recent things that have happened...

I FINALLY started my new job and I absolutely LOVE it! I know most people will think I am crazy but there is just about those middle schoolers that I like. I really have no idea what it is but I will work to figure that out as the school year goes one.  I have to say that middle schoolers have definitely changed since I was there...a mer 11 years ago (where the hell did the time go?)...They have experienced almost more things in their short life as I have as an 'adult'.  The home situation has changed, meaning more electronics then family connections, and they definitely are not intimidated by authority.  This year will be an on-going battle of wits but even with that I'm excited to see where everything goes.

ALSO, I purchased my first car! Now this was an experience... I had been looking for a car for probably 5 or 6 months before I found this one. After all that time I had narrowed my choice to some kind of Subaru simply for the AWD.  I absolutely thought that that was the type of car I would be driving off a lot somewhere.  Boy was I wrong!  I ended up stopping at a dealership in Burlington, where the charming sales man managed to lure me and my sister into the building.  After about 30 minutes of questions (I thought he was going to start interrogating me!) he disappears and returns with in a car. This was NOT a Subaru like I had planned, but instead a cute little Kia Sportage.  Now in no way did I want an SUV, and this in my case was one. But I did get in the car like a good girl and we took it for a test drive...I guess you know what happens next. I LOVE IT! It was a suprise to me, but the next day we (My dad and I) were back up in Burlington ready to make the purchase.  I've had the car for a little over 3 weeks now, and I can say that I definitely do not regret buying it! ...oh and Ella loves it too =D

Now to leave you with a random message of the day.

5 Positive Thoughts

1. Don't sleep too much. Enjoy being alive & productive. There is plenty of time to be
dead & definitley sleep forever.
2. Sometimes, nobody really cares if you are miserable, so you might as well be happy.
3. If you can't solve it, it's not a problem - it's reality
4. Happiness is like perfume;  you cannot pour it on others without getting a few
drops on yourself
5. If all good things must come to an end, then do not worry.  All bad things
eventually would end too.
