I guess you could say that I will make my goal of at least one update this month! (Lets hope I can make it back here again before the end of September).
As far as a real update goes, there is really not much going on in my life, but here are the more recent things that have happened...
I FINALLY started my new job and I absolutely LOVE it! I know most people will think I am crazy but there is just about those middle schoolers that I like. I really have no idea what it is but I will work to figure that out as the school year goes one. I have to say that middle schoolers have definitely changed since I was there...a mer 11 years ago (where the hell did the time go?)...They have experienced almost more things in their short life as I have as an 'adult'. The home situation has changed, meaning more electronics then family connections, and they definitely are not intimidated by authority. This year will be an on-going battle of wits but even with that I'm excited to see where everything goes.
ALSO, I purchased my first car! Now this was an experience... I had been looking for a car for probably 5 or 6 months before I found this one. After all that time I had narrowed my choice to some kind of Subaru simply for the AWD. I absolutely thought that that was the type of car I would be driving off a lot somewhere. Boy was I wrong! I ended up stopping at a dealership in Burlington, where the charming sales man managed to lure me and my sister into the building. After about 30 minutes of questions (I thought he was going to start interrogating me!) he disappears and returns with in a car. This was NOT a Subaru like I had planned, but instead a cute little Kia Sportage. Now in no way did I want an SUV, and this in my case was one. But I did get in the car like a good girl and we took it for a test drive...I guess you know what happens next. I LOVE IT! It was a suprise to me, but the next day we (My dad and I) were back up in Burlington ready to make the purchase. I've had the car for a little over 3 weeks now, and I can say that I definitely do not regret buying it! ...oh and Ella loves it too =D
Now to leave you with a random message of the day.
5 Positive Thoughts
1. Don't sleep too much. Enjoy being alive & productive. There is plenty of time to be
dead & definitley sleep forever.
2. Sometimes, nobody really cares if you are miserable, so you might as well be happy.
3. If you can't solve it, it's not a problem - it's reality
4. Happiness is like perfume; you cannot pour it on others without getting a few
drops on yourself
5. If all good things must come to an end, then do not worry. All bad things
eventually would end too.
