As I'm sitting here in my nice cozy bed listening to the wind
blow, I've decided I'm going to start making some changes. Now I have been wanting to do some of these things for a while, but now I finally think I'm ready to start. So, here is a list of 5 things I want to work on throughout the rest of this year...and into next.
The List:
1. Create a Budget
2. Cut back on friends that continuously drag me down
3. Donate my hair
4. Find a reason to make everyone of my students smile...on a daily basis
5. ...and the dreaded lose 20 lbs
I think that this is an extremely attainable list for myself, and I'm excited to get started with the process. Hopefully I will be able to give reports every once in a while, to my very few blog readers (if you have any suggestions on how to make some of these work let me know!!)
I also feel as though I should let you know that I no longer have facebook!!!!! This started out as a HUGE mistake (quite embarrassing) but now I think I like it. I no longer have to worry about checking it multiple times a day or what the daily drama is. The last 2 weeks have been a really nice break from the internet world...and I think I'm going to keep going this way for a while :)
Hail! First of all, I think your list is definitely attainable and is a really great way to end this year and start the new one. I've been working on that friend thing as well and I also deleted my facebook a couple of weeks ago. It was so worth it too! It totally consumed me for a while (having to check it all the time) then I felt like I always had to impress people on there so I had to think about what I wanted to post all the time! Screw that. haha. I've been working on a new blog too lately. I just wanted a fresh start with everything. I started using my twitter account again occasionally too. It's way more non-personal than facebook. But anway, I was just thinking about you and Kels so I decided to visit your blogs to see what was up. I'll send you a link to my new blog soon. We are leaving Cali on the 10th and should be in VA by the 15th, then I hope to visit VT soon after.
